but its not that easy

tears falling like tumbling rocks upon my stained cheeks
hands shaking as I struggled to hold on to the blade
pressing it against my skin
sliding it across my wrist
revealing the blood beneath that withheld all my secrets
releasing the pain
falling to the floor
leaving a stain
a reminder of what once was
or what could have been
a reminder of the heartache
a reminder of the stress
all the love
leaking from my body
slipping away
to its death
never to be felt again
